Does the job…sort of

I process invoices from subcontractors where I need to take their quote, add my logo and some additional text etc. Therefore I need to convert PDF to anything that I can edit and this does part of the job.

It will turn PDF word type documents into “.doc” or “.docx”, but each line is a speparate text box so you can’t grab an entire paragraph. The whole point of converting PDF into an editable format is to be able to modify it, not just look at it!

For what I need, it is basically useless. I was able to convert to “.rtf” (Rich Text) or just text, but all formatting is lost. I can, however, access the text in large chunks. I also wonder why it doesn’t convert to pages as this is a Mac after all…

Bottom line, I feel that I wasted $10.
